Hindu Janajagruti Samiti had opposed it on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter)

Mumbai – Finolex Industries, the manufacturer of PVC pipes, had posted an advertisement on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, on their Facebook page. This advertisement showed the Shrikrushna holding a PVC pipe instead of the flute. This had hurt Hindu sentiments. In this regard, the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti opposed the advertisement with a tweet and demanded its withdrawal. After this, thousands of devout Hindus also opposed it and within hours Finolex had removed the advertisement from its Facebook page. However, the company has not officially responded in any way on the matter.
This is most shameful @FinolexCables ! The Bansuri is very much a part of Bhagwan Shri Krishna and to replace it with a plastic pipe is nothing short of denigration.
This has hurt the sentiments of Shri Krishna’s devotees!Immediately withdraw this ‘greeting’ from all… pic.twitter.com/uuLltozAYd
