Hindu woman gang-raped by doctors at a hospital in Pakistan’s Sindh

Karachi (Pakistan) – A 23-year-old Hindu woman who went to a hospital in Pakistan’s Sindh province for treatment of a kidney ailment was sedated and gang-raped by the doctors there. The condition of the victim has deteriorated. Later, she was admitted to a nearby hospital in Hyderabad, where her condition was said to be critical. After this incident, the accused doctors and other staff have absconded. The relatives of the victim Hindu woman have lodged a complaint with the Police in this regard. The Police said that the accused will be arrested soon.

The family members of the victim woman, who were enraged by this incident, said, ‘Women belonging to the minority Hindu community are not safe even in hospitals in Pakistan. The Government should take strict action against the culprits.
