Palwal (Haryana) – In the last month, on 31st July, the fanatic Muslims of Nuh attacked Hindus’ Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra and it had to be halted. Against this background, Hindu Mahapanchayat, including people from all castes, was held on 13th August 2023 at Pondri village in Palwal District. It was decided by the participating Hindus to resume the Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra on 28th August 2023. They also demanded to divide Nuh District since Muslims were a majority in the District. The population of Muslims is 79.2% in Nuh District.

The Hindu leaders, addressing Mahapanchayat accused the local Administration of carelessness. They said that despite getting information from the Intelligence Department, Hindus were attacked due to the irresponsible behaviour of the Police and Administration. They demanded that the probe into the earlier violence should be handed over to National Investigation Agency (NIA).

The local media informed that all leaders spoke in restrained language.

The Mahapanchayat was held amid the deployment of heavy security by several companies of paramilitary force and the Police.

The meeting of Mahapanchayat was attended by Hindus from Sonipat, Palwal, Faridabad, Gurugram, and Nuh Districts in Haryana, besides people from Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.

Bajrang Dal’s Convener for the Haryana area, Bharat Bhushan; Sohna’s BJP MLA Sanjay Singh; Palwal’s former BJP MLA Subhash Chaudhari and many office bearers of Vishwa Hindu Parishad were present for the Mahapanchayat.

Editorial Viewpoint

It is shameful for Hindus that it is difficult for them to organise their religious Yatra in their country, with them being the majority.
