We support the Indian Government’s effort to seek justice for the victimised women of Manipur : US

The US interference in India’s internal issues

New Delhi – Deputy Spokesperson of the US State Department Spokesperson Vedant Patel, commented on the case of two women paraded naked in Manipur, “We were shocked and horrified by the video of this extreme attack on two women in Manipur. We convey our profound sympathies to the survivors of this act of gender-based violence and support the Indian Government’s efforts to seek justice for them”.

Patel said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has said that this attack on women brings shame to civilised society. Patel further added, “And as we have previously stated, we encourage a peaceful and inclusive resolution to the violence in Manipur. We encourage authorities to respond to the humanitarian needs and protect the lives and property of all groups”. Patel was responding to a Pakistani journalist who asked a question about the violence in Manipur at the press conference of the US Government. (Pakistani journalist’s hatred for India – Editor)

Editorial Viewpoints

  • US policy on India’s internal affairs is one-sided, as it does not speak out about millions of Hindu girls whose lives have been destroyed by love jihad in India.
  • How can the US never feel empathy towards the countless atrocities committed against Hindu women in Pakistan and Bangladesh?
