According to the complaint filed by Kanwariyas, while passing by the mosque, Usman Alvi shouted loudly saying ‘kill these people’. After this, stones were pelted from the roof of the mosque.

Stone-pelting by Muslims due to ‘gulal’ spattering

Muslims have claimed that there was a tableau in the Kanwariyas procession and gulal was being spattered there. There was a fan. As the tableau came near mosque, the fan was turned towards it. Due to fan air, gulal was blown on people standing near mosque. This resulted into an argument followed by stone-pelting. (Hindu religious processions are attacked just because of gulal however ‘None is greater than Allah’ is broadcasted 5 times daily from mosques in a shrill voice. However, other religions remain silent about it. Will secularists ever take note of it ?– Editor)

Editorial Viewpoints

  • Why are the political parties talking about Manipur incident silent about the incident in Bareilly ? They are silent because here Hindus are the ones getting oppressed and Muslims are the oppressors. If the opposite had happened, these political parties would have fiercely assailed.
  • It won’t be a surprise if law-abiding people ask, if UP Government will take action against stone pelting mosques with bulldozers ?
  • The statement about closure of temples that display power instead of devotion are made, why does no one ever talk about banning the places of worship from where violence is actually perpetrated ?
