Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar suffers a heart attack in Afghanistan
Jaish-e-Mohammed chief and fugitive terrorist Masood Azhar, wanted by India, suffered a heart attack while training terrorists in Afghanistan’s Khost province. He has since been brought back to Pakistan for treatment at a military hospital in Karachi. Sources say he may soon be transferred to Rawalpindi for further treatment.
Masood Azhar is the mastermind behind several major attacks in India, including the Indian Parliament attack, the Pathankot airbase attack in Punjab, and the Pulwama military convoy attack in Kashmir. He orchestrated the 2005 attack on Shriram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya. He was also behind the 2016 Uri military base attack in Jammu and the assault on the Indian consulate in Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan. The United Nations has designated him as an international terrorist.
