The issue of warning given to Muslim shopkeepers to shut their shops due to Love jihad

New Delhi – After the incident of Love jihad by a Muslim shopkeeper in Uttarkashi in Uttarakhand, residents have pasted posters warning Muslim shopkeepers to vacate their shops by 15th June. MP Shashi Tharoor has tweeted, “Horrifying. This cannot be what we have reduced ourselves to. Gandhiji would be ashamed of the India we have created.” Muslims own 30 to 35 shops in Uttarakashi.

• It is not surprising if anyone thinks that M Gandhi, ever appeasing Muslims, would have been ashamed to hear such a warning, if had been alive.
• Hindus should take Shashi Tharoor to task constitutionally for being agitated not because of Love jihad, but for the counter-action of warning to shut the shops.
