Student of ´The London School of Economics (LSE)’ and a proud Hindu to contest the student union elections, Karan Katariya is a victim of yet another anti-Hindu ploy. He faced criticism, was harassed for being a Hindu, and ended up losing his nomination for the student elections. While the historic elections at London´s famous Oxford University, where an Indian origin, Rashmi Samant was elected as the President of the Student Union is still in the air, this incident appears similar. These Hindus are referred to as ´Fascists´, ´Islamophobic´, ´Transphobic` and `Racist`. Karan´s election application form was rejected only because he is a Hindu. It is highly condemnable that the university did not bother to take necessary actions against the wrongdoers when this ill-treatment was brought to their notice. The students are protesting against this ethical discrimination and they are creating awareness through social media. It is very unfortunate that in such a prestigious educational institution, a Hindu student is being penalized and treated as a terrorist only for being a Hindu. Even though Karan and his colleagues are being harassed for being Hindu by other students, the University blindly trusted the rumors and sidelined Karan from the elections. Karan expressed his displeasure against this institutional dictatorship, he is at times seen opposing anti-India and anti-Hindu views and believes the same powers have stirred this controversy. In a recent tweet, he says, ´I am determined to face the anti-Hindu` propaganda. Karan, born in a middle-class farmer´s family in Haryana, is getting significant support from other fellow students and is abstained from his basic right of contesting elections. The reason lies in being a Hindu. It wouldn´t be inappropriate to say that the self-proclaimed promoters of democracy, the Britishers, are somewhat actually killing it.
An International Anti-Hindu Conspiracy
Although the above situation seems incidental, its roots lie deep within the realm of global anti-Hindu propaganda. Under Modi´s rule, the glorious history of Hinduism and its culture are reviving. Hindu youth is now admiring the glory and grandeur of our culture and realizing that it is like none other, this builds a sense of Pride amongst the Hindus. The incorrect British-centric history alongside the demeaning history of India which was orchestrated by our own liberals and intellectuals over decades is now being uprooted. It is now coming to light that this was in fact an ´Ideological Subversion´, meaning a conspiracy to damage the social order by the white Sahebs of England and the Brown (traitor) Sahebs of India. Understanding the scientifically proven cultural and traditional heritage and the glorious history, the youth of India is unknowingly uniting toward a common identity of being a Hindu. This angers the anti-Hindu powers, primarily the Muslims, Liberals, and Christians who then try to defame Hindus and Hinduism through various mediums. They would leave their personal differences aside and unite against the Hindus. Recently Germany and America were seen bringing up the issue of Rahul Gandhi´s disqualification from the Indian parliament, but they are never seen to even address the ill-treatment of Hindus in England. England is also often seen to talk about the so-called discrimination toward Muslims in India. Will these nations ever have the courage to shout out the mistreatment of dark-skinned in a foreign land and Hindus in British Universities? Will the Western human rights advisors or their Indian blind followers ever hear the cries of these affected Hindu students?
Indian Government should interfere !
Every Indian feels that with such incidents making rounds regularly, the foreign affairs ministry of India should strongly report the University and the Nation. This would embolden a belief amongst non-resident Indians that the Indian Government is by their side. Anti-Hindu elements on foreign soil should rethink before harassing Hindus, if this is to be achieved, the Modi government should thwart the idea of `Dismantling Global Hindutva`. This alone would pave a way for the ´Unapologetic Hindu` movement. If such thoughts are encouraged and supported, a day when the world would look up to the Hindus, won’t be that far.
