10 accomplices arrested

Amritsar – Amritpal Singh, the head of the pro-Khalistani movement and the ‘Waris Punjab De’ (Heirs of Punjab) has been declared a fugitive by the Punjab Police. Six of his accomplices from Nakodara of Jalandhar have been arrested. A large cache of weapons has also been seized from them. This action was taken as a retaliation for the attack and siege around the Ajnala Police station. Also, huge manhunt has been launched for his arrest. In addition to the above the Police have also made 4 more arrests in this case of Pro-Khalistan.
3 cases have been registered against Amritpal Singh, Pro-Khalistan. 2 of these crimes have been registered at the Ajnala Police station. The Police had received information that Amritpal Singh (Pro-Khalistan) was coming to Shahkot Malaysia to attend a programme on 18th March. Amritpal’s convoy was surrounded by the Police. A few of his accomplices were arrested but Amritpal fled the scene.
The Police arrested Amritpal’s close associate Bhagwant Singh alias Bajeke at his farm in Moga.
