Hyderabad (Telangana) – Telangana State Public Health Department Director G Srinivasa Rao said, “Christianity is the reason for India’s development. It is because of the grace of Jesus Christ that COVID-19 has decreased. Many people think that it has decreased because we are doing good, but that is not the reality. The cases have reduced because of Jesus Christ.” He made these remarks while speaking at the Semi-Christmas celebrations held in the Bhadradri Kothagudem District.

Individual of every religion in India may feel that they have defeated COVID-19 due to their faith according to their religion. However, will followers of other faiths, unlike Rao, ever say, “We were able to defeat COVID-19 because of Shriram.”
