Threat by Maulana Sajid Rashidi to Uttarakhand’s BJP Govt !
Dehradun (Uttarakhand) – BJP Government of Uttarakhand has taken a decision to have a dress code for all madarasas run under the Waqf Board and adopt NCERT’s textbooks in their curriculum which, however, is opposed by Muslims. Maulana Sajid Rashidi has threatened the Government that the country would be set ablaze if the Government didn’t leave alone the private madarasas.

Maulana Sajid Rashidi has said that there is a madarasa board in every State, and it works under the respective State Government. The Government can impose the dress code on such madarasas, but it cannot interfere with the working of the private madarasas because Indian Muslims send 4% of Muslims to private madarasas to train them as maulvis and maulanas. All Indian Muslims will oppose the Government if it interferes even in the working of these madarasas and will not allow such things to happen. We are not taking any aid from the Governments. Those, who are fools, have handed over their madarasas to Governments for money, and they are suffering for their actions. Our senior maulvis and ulemas, therefore, advise against taking money from Governments for madarasas.
