China again vetoes the decision to declare Pakistan’s terrorist Talha Saeed an international terrorist

New York (US) – The United Nations had taken the name of Talha Saeed, son of ‘Lashkar-e-Taiba’ chief Hafiz Saeed as a designate in the international terrorist list, which was vetoed by China. India had given a proposal to add Saeed’s name to the international terrorist list of the United Nations. Before this, China had opposed the declaration of Lashkar-e-Taiba’s Shaheed Mahmud as an international terrorist.

India’s Home Ministry in its 8th April notice had declared Talha Saeed a terrorist. It stated that Talha Saeed was the main terrorist of the Lashkar-e-Taiba and was the chief of the Maulvis. Saeed actively participated in cadre recruitment and fund-raising for the organisation. Saeed had a hand in planning and participating in Lashkar-e-Taiba’s attacks in India and India’s projects in Afghanistan.
