‘Sar Tan Se Juda’ means separating the head from the body

Khandwa (MP) – The slogans of ‘Sar Tan Se Juda’ were raised during the Muharram procession in Khandwa in front of the Police. A video of this incident has gone viral on social media. This incident took place on the 10th of August night. Police are investigating the matter and searching for the culprits who raised the slogans.

This proceeding was passing through the ‘Jalebi Chouk’ in the district. The immersion of the ‘Tazias’ was going on. Youth in this proceeding was seen raising the slogans, ‘Gustakh-e-Nabi ki ek sana, sar tan se juda, sar tan se juda’ (The one who tries to insult Mohammad Paigamber deserves only one punishment, separation of the head from the body). When these slogans were raised, the Police too were present at the place.
