Ajmer (Rajasthan) – After killing Kanhaiya Lal on 28th June, Riaz Akhtari and Gauss Mohammad planned to abscond and meet Ajmer Dargah Khadim Gauhar Chishti. While absconding, the killers were caught by the Police on the way. Gauhar Chishti had gone to Udaipur on 17th June. There he also announced Nupur Sharma’s beheading. Because of that, a case was registered against him. He is on the run since then. It is noticeable that on the same day, Riaz had made a video threatening to behead those who insult Prophet Mohmmad. It was Gauhar who asked Riaz and Gauss to make a video of Kanhaiya Lal’s murder.

Gauhar Chishti is said to be an active member of the jihadi organisation Popular Front of India.
