H.H. (Adv.) Hari Shankar Jain (practising in the Supreme Court)and his son Adv. Vishnu Shankar Jain (Spokesperson, ‘Hindu Front for Justice’ and practising in the Supreme Court) waging a legal battle against Gyanvapi Masjid to make the Shri Kashi Vishweshwar Temple encroachment-free, were honoured on the 1st day of the ‘Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Rashtra Adhiveshan’ by representatives of various temples in Goa.
Dr Ajay Kantak (President of Shri Mangesh Devasthan) and Mr Arun Nadkarni (Secretary of Shri Mangesh Devasthan) honoured H.H. (Adv.) Hari Shankar Jain and Adv. Vishnu Shankar Jain by garlanding them and offering shawls, coconuts and photos of Deities. All people present in the Adhiveshan were overwhelmed with bhav (Spiritual emotion). Dr Ajay Kantak said that, ‘Mahajans’ of Shri Mangesh Devasthan have the honour to offer worship first at the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
Every year, the Holy Ganga water from this Temple in Kashi is sent to Shri Mangeshi. We use that water to clean the Sanctum sanctorum of Shri Mangesh Devasthan.
