Ninety flights cancelled in Britain after the corona period due to less manpower

London/New York – Manpower shortage posing obstacles for the passengers from Europe to the US; although, the Air transport has been revived after the Corona period. On 20th June a sudden message was given to Air travel companies to cancel 10% flights on Heathrow Airport by Airport officers, for having failed to manage travellers. This affected 90 flights and 15,000 passengers. 40,000 railway employees have gone on strike in this country. Therefore 20% of trains would not run in the country. This will affect 5 lakhs people. The main reason of cancelling flights happens to be less manpower. Before Corona 74,000 employees were working in an Air establishment in Britain. 30,000 were reduced. Along with this, most of the employees from among 66,000 working at the airport and as Aeroplane assistants were removed from the job. According to the National Office of Statistics 12 lakh, 95 thousand posts in various fields are vacant.

Fourteen thousand flights are cancelled in a month in the US

One thousand flights were cancelled in the US this week. 14 thousand flights were cancelled this month. Belgium’s Brussels airport has been closed. Securities from that place have gone on strike.
