The ‘Teele Wali Masjid’ in Lucknow is actually an ancient Hindu temple

Lucknow (UP) – The ‘Teele Wali Masjid’ is actually ‘Laxman Tila’. Hence, a petition has been filed in the District Court asking that it be handed over to the Hindus. The hearing on this petition is scheduled for the 30th of July.

In 2013, a similar petition had been filed in the lower Court. On its dismissal, an appeal has been filed in the Upper Court challenging the decision. H.H. (Adv.) Hari Shankar Jain said that the ‘Teele Wali Masjid’ complex is the place of Sheshnagestha Tileshwar Mahadev, which was destroyed during Aurangzeb’s reign.
