Uttarakhand HC sends notice to the Central and the State Government

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) – Uttarakhand HC sent a notice to the Central and the State Government regarding a petition for the protection of 51 Shaktipeeths in Himalaya. The Government has been given 6 weeks’ notice to respond.
Prabhu Narayan, a resident of Dehradun had filed public interest litigation (PIL) in the High Court mentioning that 51 Shaktipeeths in the Himalayan regions of Uttarakhand have scientific and mythological significance. These Shakteepths are also key for environmental harmony. It was proven by the example of the Dharadevi Mandir displacement.

Only after an hour of this displacement, Kedarnath saw a catastrophic flood. The displacement was done without understanding the power of the Shaktipeeth completely. It is the point of natural energy which generates Earth’s electromagnetic field. Scientific research is needed further in this matter.
