Thieves snatched the Idol of Ladu Gopal adorned with gold and silver ornaments in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh

Meerut (UP) – Thieves snatched the Idol of Ladu Gopal at Kankarkheda in the Meerut District of Uttar Pradesh. The bronze Idol weighed around 6 kg, and it was adorned with gold and silver ornaments.

Rita Rathi, a resident of Sainik Vihar in Kankarkheda, was on her way to worship at the Shiva temple. Rita carried an Idol of Laddu Gopal adorned with gold and silver ornaments in her basket. On the way, two bike-borne thieves snatched her mobile phone and basket containing the Idol from Rita and fled.
