Waseem Rizvi, former chief of UP Shia Waqf Board, converted to Hindu Dharma!

Ghaziabad (UP) – Waseem Rizvi, former Chief of UP Shia Waqf Board, embraced Hindu Dharma at Dasana Devi Temple, in the presence of Mahamandaleshwar Narsinghanand Giri of Juna akhara. Narsinghanand Giri initiated him into Sanatan Dharma, after which Rizvi was given a new name – Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi. He was purified by performing Yajna and havan for him.

I was ashamed to be a Muslim – Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi ( formerly Waseem Rizvi)

After embracing Hindu Dharma, Jitendra Narayan Tyagi said, “It is not an issue of conversion. Which religion should I accept was a question after I was debarred from Islam.  Sanatan is the first-ever religion of the world and it has so many good things that are absent in any other religion. After Friday prayers, Jumma, awards were announced to kill me. Fatwa was issued to behead me. In such a scenario, I was ashamed to remain a Muslim.“

Central Government should provide security to Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi – Swami Chakrapani,  National President of Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Mahasabha

Swami Chakrapani, President of Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha, has welcomed Jitendra Narayan Taygi in Sanatan Dharma and commended his decision to embrace Sanatan Dharma. He further said that after the conversion of Waseem Rizvi to Hindu Dharma, nobody should dare to issue a fatwa against him. Central Government should provide appropriate security to him.

Rizvi had prepared a will wishing cremation according to Hindu rituals instead of burial

Waseem Rizvi had filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding the removal of 26 ayat from the Quran, but Court dismissed it. After that, all India Faizan e Madina Council has issued a fatwa declaring a bounty of 10 lakh rupees on his head and a free Haj pilgrimage.  Muslim organisations have debarred Waseem Rizvi from Islam, after which Rizvi decided to convert. He prepared his will in which he mentioned that after his death, he should not be buried but cremated. Some people wish to kill him. Muslim will prevent his burial in the cemetery. Hence, he should be cremated instead of buried, Mahant Narsinghanand Giri should light the pyre.

In 2000, Waseem Rizwi was elected as corporator from the Kashmiri mohalla of Lucknow. He became a member of the Shia Wakf board in the year 2008. But in the year 2012, he was debarred from Samajwadi Party after his dispute with Maulana Kulbe Jawed.

There were allegations of a financial scam against Waseem Rizvi, but he came out clean

In 2018, Rizwi alleged that madarasas spread homosexuality. In a letter to UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he requested the banning of madarasas. He had also claimed that the madarasas spread terrorism.
