Ranchi (Jharkhand) – Taliban should be praised for driving away US forces from Afghanistan. Everyone knows how much the people of Afghanistan have suffered due to US forces. The people of Afghanistan are happy now. Americans were committing atrocities on Afghans and the Taliban. They were harassing women and children. This battle has been against those atrocities. The propaganda (against the Taliban) is from the outsiders and is wrong, stated Congress MLA Irfan Ansari while talking to the media.

BJP State President Deepak Prakash has criticised Ansari’s statement. He said, “Ansari is supporting the organisation infamous for its atrocities on women. People are fleeing from Afghanistan. Is Ansari interested in having this kind of situation in India ?” asked Prakash.
