Islamists in India have been cheering for the Taliban ever since the group took over Afghanistan following the exit of US forces. A Delhi riots accused said, “Let me give you guys a piece of good news – Ashraf Ghani has resigned. Thanks to Allah ! Slowly and gradually, it will lead to the establishment of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (governed by the Taliban). We need to take inspiration from them and learn how to struggle in the pursuit of freedom movement. (Azadi)”.

• If Hindus were the Taliban-types, all other religions would have ceased to exist. However, since this is not the case, even though they are the ‘majority’, Hindus keep getting bullied and bashed by religious fanatics.
• Patriots strongly feel that people who support the Taliban like this, should be arrested and put behind bars for life by the Central Government.

Once renowned Urdu poet Munawwar Rana made objectionable comments on the Hindu Dharma and community by drawing false equivalents and rhetorics with Taliban. Rana has been going around defending the Islamist organisation in media interactions. In a wrangled interview with TV anchor Deepak Chaurasia, Rana defended the Taliban tooth and nail.

When asked about the Taliban, Rana upheld his ecosystem’s narrative by calling them mere ‘aggressive fighters’ and not ‘terrorists.’

Rana went ahead to make a dastardly metaphorical statement to defend the Taliban. “Valmiki became a God after he wrote the Ramayan, before that he was a dacoit. A person’s character can change. Similarly, the Taliban, for now, are terrorists but people and characters change”, exclaimed Rana.

He added, “When you speak about Valmiki you will have to talk about his past. In your religion, you make anyone God. But he was a writer. Okay, so he wrote the Ramayan, but we are not in competition here”. (Is there anyone in Rana’s religion who can be called ‘God’ ? But you can find plenty of terrorists, Jihadis, notorious criminals, rapists, etc. amongst them ! – Editor)

In a video that has gone viral, the Mufti of Darul-Uloom Deoband and the Chairman of Online Fatwa Department, Moulana Mufti Arshad Farooqi was heard praising the Taliban for their ‘victory’ against the ‘super power’ USA. Hailing the Taliban for ousting the United States of America from Afghanistan, he said there is something special about the Taliban.

Taliban victory in Afghanistan should be celebrated by all Muslims, says Tamil Nadu based Moulana

According to a report, Moulana Shamsudeen Qasimi, a cleric from Tamil Nadu, has congratulated the Taliban for its recent success in Afghanistan and said that the Taliban victory in the war-torn country is a moment of celebration for the entire Islamic community. He also said that the Taliban’s rise in Afghanistan is the grace of Allah.

AIMIM Chief Owaisi says Government should focus on women in India instead of Afghanistan

Hyderabad – AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi stirred a controversy after claiming that the Indian Government should focus on women in India instead of trying to help Afghans under the Taliban regime. He made the comments during an event on 19th August.

Owaisi said, “As per a report, one out of nine female children dies before the age of 5 years in India. There are atrocities and crimes against women here. But, they (Centre) are worried about what is happening to women in Afghanistan. Isn’t it happening here ?”

Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje has shot back at Owaisi, saying he should be sent to Afghanistan. “It is better to send Asaduddin Owaisi to Taliban to protect their women and community”, she said.

Taliban raided and searched closed Indian consulates for clues on Afghan spies, took away parked cars

Reports from Kandahar revealed that the Taliban fighters broke the locks of the Indian consulate to enter the premises. In addition, they took away parked diplomatic vehicles with them. During the raids, the Taliban fighters searched cupboards for papers to find details about Afghans who worked for NDS, the state-run intelligence agency.

Complaints registered against Swara Bhasker for hurting sentiments

A complaint has been filed against actor-activist Swara Bhasker over a tweet equating ‘Hindutva terror’ with the ‘Taliban terror’. She has been accused of promoting enmity between several groups on grounds of religion & committing acts that were detrimental to the maintenance of peace through her tweet.

“We can’t be okay with Hindutva terror & be all shocked & devastated at Taliban terror …” (Swara Bhasker should be boycotted for promoting the fake ‘Hindu terror’ narrative. Do such people have any right to stay in India. They should leave for the prosperous Afghanistan ! – Editor)

No Democracy, only Sharia : Taliban Spokesperson says that Afghanistan will be run as it was 20 years ago

Following the forcible takeover of Afghanistan by the Taliban, the country will now be ruled by a council headed by Islamist leader Haibatullah Akhundzada.

Senior Taliban commander Waheedullah Hashimi said, “There will be no democratic system at all because it does not have any base in our country. We will not discuss what type of political system should we apply in Afghanistan because it is clear. It is sharia law and that is it”.
