Transfer of power to follow soon
Kabul (Afghanistan) – According to news sources, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has resigned after Taliban forces began infiltrating the Afghan capital, Kabul. A Taliban delegation is reportedly on its way to the Rashtrapati Bhavan to complete the transfer of power. According to sources, Mullah Baradar, the Taliban’s second-in-command, is holding talks with President Ashraf Ghani. After the talks, President Ashraf Ghani is expected to hand over power to Ali Ahmed Jalali for an interim Government.
