Jaipur (Rajasthan) – In a gross violation of Covid protocol, thousands of people gathered for the funeral of social worker Haji Rafat Ali in Jaipur. The attendees neither wore masks nor maintained the social distance. Instead of taking action against these violators, the Police provided protection to them. The funeral was also attended by the two leaders of the ruling Congress party. The video of this incident went viral on social media. The Police has registered cases against MLA Rafiq Khan and others, just for the sake of formality.
Earlier too, more than 5,000 people had attended the funeral of Minister of State Saleh Muhammad’s father in Jaisalmer. The Police remained inactive then too.
