Gajendra Singh Shekhavat : 11.5 lakh Covid vaccine doses rendered useless in Rajasthan

The State Government reports claimed only 2% Covid vaccine doses rendered useless.

It is futile to expect true figures will come out in the Congress ruled Rajasthan.

Jaipur (Rajasthan) – Central Cabinet Minister, Gajendra Singh Shekhavat, claimed that more than 11.5 lakh Covid vaccine doses were wasted in Rajasthan. Each vial of the Covid vaccine contains ten doses. If all ten doses of one vial not used after opening, the remaining doses become useless. A huge quantity of doses became useless all over the country in this manner. According to a report, in eight Districts of Rajasthan, 2,500 Covid vaccine doses from 500 vials were found in garbage bin at 35 Vaccination Centers. However, the Government asserted only 2% of vaccine doses was counterproductive.
