Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Andolan Samiti demands survey of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi

In fact, there should be no need for Hindus to place such a demand. The government should revoke the Places of Worship act, relieve Hindu religious sites of the encroachments by Islamic invaders and return this rich Hindu heritage to the Hindus.

Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi, Mathura

Mathura (Uttar Pradesh) – Advocate Mahendra Pratap Singh, chairman of the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Andolan Samiti, has placed a plea for the survey of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi in the civil court here. In the Kashi Vishwanath Temple case, the Archaeological Survey of India has been ordered to survey the area and collect evidence; the same type of survey should also be done in this case. He has demanded that a 5-member committee should be set up at the same time, which includes both Hindus and Muslims.

Advocate Singh further said that there was a temple in place of the mosque situated on the 13.7 acres of land belonging to Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi. It was demolished on the orders of Aurangzeb and the current Idgah Mosque built on the ruins. The idols of this temple are buried under the steps of the Red Fort Mosque in Agra. He has already demanded that these be recovered.
