Haridwar, 15 April (News) – ‘After Uttarkhand was separated from Uttar Pradesh, a law was passed that in the surroundings of Haridwar’s  ‘Har ki Paudi’ no Muslim can buy land nor live here as a tenant. However in the present situation Muslims are occupying land illegally in this region. They are making efforts to usurp the land of sadhus and saints. A cabal is functioning for this purpose. It is necessary to undertake serious efforts regarding this issue’. These remarks were made by Swami Avdheshanand ji of Juna Akhada while talking to Hindu Janjagruti Samiti’s State Coordinators of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan Shri. Anand Jhakotia and Shri. Rajesh Umarani. Swamiji praised the Samiti’s activities and said “You are doing good work. We will definitely pay a visit to your centre”.

Swamiji said, “If the entire community of Sadhus had united over the incident of murder of sadhus in Palghar, then those conspiring would have been taught a proper lesson. However we do not get the help of either Sadhus or common Hindus for such matters! It is becoming difficult for sadhus to even survive as sadhus.”
