No intentions to permit Chinese companies to invest in India – Central Government

In national interest, Chinese companies should not be permitted to  invest in India even in future.

New Delhi – A report by Reuters claimed that India is set to clear 45 investment proposals from China. The central government has issued a clarification that it does not have any plans of permitting Chinese investments. As of now the government has green signaled three investment plans which includes two Japanese companies and one NRI group.

The government has said that it will not take any hasty decision as far as China is concerned. In fact India is closely monitoring China’s moves along the border and is not going to relax the restrictions placed on China.
