
Jakarta (Indonesia) – The Police in Jakarta have killed six suspected extremists in a clash on 7th December. Large quantities of arms were seized from them. Jakarta’s Police Chief, Fadil Imran said the militants killed were supporters of Islamic cleric Rizik Shihab in Indonesia. Shihab has been charged with treason and pornography (Inciting information on sexual acts through various media). He had been living in Saudi Arabia for many years and is now back in Indonesia.
