The Hindi version of Amazon’s ‘Alexa’ says ‘Kashmir is part of China’

Promises to correct when opposed through social media

New Delhi – Alexa, which provides artificial intelligence (AI) services to online retailer Amazon has said ‘Kashmir is part of China’. An Indian has posted a video on social media in this regard, in which the above anomaly was noticed. Although the Hindi version of Alexa states Kashmir as part of China, while the English version states it as part of India. As opposition to Alexa began on social media, Amazon tweeted, ‘Thank you for pointing out the mistake’. We have informed the concerned and further measures will be taken’.
