Lucknow – Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh announced to name the under construction Museum at Agra not after Mughals but after Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He released an order to to Jitendra Kumar, U.P. State Tourism Secretary to implement it. This museum is being constructed at the eastern entrance of Taj Mahal, and INR 150 crore expenditure is estimated for the construction. The Samajwadi Party had started the construction of this museum. (Subservient mentality of the Samajwadi party ! It is a misfortune of Hindus that such party was ruling Uttar Pradesh ! – Editor)
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “The U. P. Government always nurtured the nationalist ideology. It is essential to promote the things which elevate the pride towards nation rather than anything which smacks of subservient mentality. Mughals cannot be our heroes. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is our real ideal.”
The Museum will also have exhibition of Maratha empire monuments !
As informed by tourism department officials, the museum will include items and documents of Mughal era as well as icons from the entire Maratha empire along with the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s era.
