Prayagraj (UP) – Maharashtra’s former Director General of Police, S.M. Mushrif, has written a book that describes the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as ‘terrorists.’ This book was found in the ‘Jamia Habibia Masjid-e-Azam’ madarasa during an investigation. The investigative agencies discovered the book while probing a case related to the printing of counterfeit notes at the madarasa. Articles by S.M. Mushrif are also published in Pakistan’s “Dawn” newspaper.

Suspicion that some accused have fled to Pakistan

On 28th August, the police raided the Jamia Habibiya Masjid-e-Azam madrasa in Atrasiya, where they found counterfeit currency notes worth Rs 1 lakh. The police also seized a machine used for printing counterfeit notes. Mohammad Afzal, Mohammad Shahid, Maulvi Mohammad Tafseerul Arifeen, and Zahid Khan have been arrested. Some accused are still absconding, and it is suspected that they have fled to Pakistan.
