Kolhapur, Maharashtra – Some people belonging to a group called ‘Hyderabad Youth Courage’ on Facebook were seen doling out bundles of currency notes to local Muslims in Haldwani, Uttarakhand after unauthorised structures were demolished there. The same group is seen at Vishalgad Fort distributing cash to Muslims. They have circulated the video of this act on social media. What exactly is the Police Administration doing while all this is happening ? Where did this group get this money from ? What exactly do they want to tell Muslims through this act ? What message are they trying to convey ? However, Mr Ramesh Shinde, National Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, has demanded that Kolhapur Superintendent of Police, Director General of Police and the Chief Minister of the State should conduct a thorough enquiry of individuals coming to Vishalgad Fort from Hyderabad involved in distributing money to the local Muslims.

Mr Ramesh Shinde added,
1. When the devout Hindus protested against the unauthorised structure at Vishalgad Fort in Kolhapur, several so-called secularist leaders expressed their empathy for the Muslims while ignoring the unauthorised structures there.
2. While efforts are being made to seek assistance from the Government, on the other hand, attempts are being made to mislead Muslims under the pretext of helping them in various ways.
3. The question occurs today whether there is any other propaganda going on through such actions. Who is this group from Hyderabad involved in doling out cash to Muslims from door to door ? Their motive behind distributing this money should be thoroughly investigated.
4. They should be immediately detained for interrogation. This is the demand from the Hindu community, failing which, the situation may further deteriorate.
