Seven-year-old Kumari went missing in Sindh’s Sukkur on 19th August 2021 while enjoying a sorbet during the Muharram Ashura procession near her home in Sangar near Sukkur in South Sindh province, Pakistan. Tired of searching for her, her father Raj Kumar Pal and mother Veena Kumari protested at the famous 3 Talwar in the Clifton area of Karachi. His purpose was to remind people that his daughter had not yet been found. “We have been assured again that they are looking for our daughter and will find her soon,” said father Raj Kumar Pal. After this assurance, the protests were called off.
