New Delhi – The future belongs to India, and the world stands at the threshold of this new era. By 2047, India will achieve the status of a developed nation, stated renowned economist NK Singh during his speech after receiving a prestigious honorary scholarship from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

The London School of Economics highlighted that Singh’s long-standing and committed relationship with them, along with his role as Co-Chair of their India Advisory Board, has strengthened their ties with India. This award is a recognition of his significant efforts.

While accepting the award, the 83-year-old economist Singh remarked:

The country’s glorious history and its efforts to achieve a high-growth economy will be underscored as it celebrates the centenary of its independence.

Prime Minister Modi is in his third term, and he, along with all members of the Cabinet, is fully committed to making India a developed nation by 2047. It is essential for India to maintain this momentum for the next two decades.

Editorial Perspective

India must not become merely an economic superpower. Over the past 100 years, the secular worldly development of UK, Russia, and US has left these nations weakened. India must base its worldly development on Hindu principles to be worthy of leading the world for several centuries.
