New Delhi – Recently, Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited India for a two-day tour. She held bilateral talks with Prime Minister Modi. Following this, Prime Minister Modi announced that the ‘ E-Medical Visa’ facility will soon be launched for people coming to India from Bangladesh for treatment.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that, for the convenience of people from the north-western part of Bangladesh, a new Assistant High Commission office is being set up in Rangpur, Bangladesh. He mentioned that Bangladesh is India’s largest development partner, and India prioritises its relationship with Bangladesh.
In the past year, several significant welfare projects have been completed collaboratively. Additionally, trade between the two countries has commenced in Indian Rupees.
