
Rajkot (Gujarat) – A massive fire broke out at the ‘TRP Gaming Zone’, on the afternoon of 25th May. 28 individuals including 12 children have died in the incident. 25 individuals were successfully evacuated, however by then, a few individuals, along with children were burnt alive.
The owner and the manager of the gaming zone have been arrested in connection with the incident. The owner had not taken permission from the fire brigade to run the gaming zone. Rajkot District Collector, Prabhav Joshi, said that the air-conditioning system might have got overloaded due to high outside temperature; causing short-circuit.
