Love Jihad in Rajasthan
Jaipur (Rajasthan) – A case of ‘Love Jihad’ has come to light in the Shipra Path area. Salman Khan, a young Muslim man who runs a mobile repair shop in Jaipur, deceived a 25-year-old Hindu woman by pretending to be Hindu and lured her in a romantic relationship. He then raped her. The victim, a resident of Sanganer, and her family have filed a complaint against the accused at the Shipra Path Police station, leading to his arrest.
The accused, Salman Khan, not only raped the victim but also extorted Rs 4,00,000 from her by blackmailing her with an obscene video he had recorded. He threatened to spread this video on social media and coerced the victim into further physical relations against her will, according to the complaint. The Police have initiated an investigation and arrested Salman Khan from Delhi, placing the victim under the care of her family. Further investigation is ongoing.
