Forest fire in Uttarakhand endangers the environment

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) – As summer reaches its peak, the forest fires in Uttarakhand are also intensifying. Dark carbon clouds are formed due to the forest fire causing the environmental crisis. People are facing many health-related problems like breathing difficulty.

Maximum fire incidents registered in Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand is leading in forest fire incidents. More than 4,500 fire alerts have been sent in Uttarakhand in 7 days. During this period, Uttarakhand recorded the highest number of 350 serious forest fire incidents.

It is a scientific fact that forest fires play a major role in the creation of carbon. When forests burn, they also emit large amounts of carbon dioxide and other pollutants, including black carbon. Half burnt carbon is black carbon. This adversely affects air quality and climate.
