Mumbai – After the death of his son, actor Shekhar Suman recently revealed in an interview that he threw all the Idols of Deities out of the house and closed the home temple. “I used to say that God gave me so much pain that He took the life of my beautiful and innocent son. I will never go to God again. We used to pray for my son’s recovery from his illness,” Suman also mentioned during this time.
Narrating an incident from 1989, he said that his 11-year-old son was diagnosed with a rare, incurable disease, and modern doctors told him that ‘he would live for another eight months’. After that, Shekhar Suman sought treatment from many modern doctors worldwide. Subsequently, his son lived for four more years. One day, while sick, his son asked Shekhar Suman not to go for filming, but the director said it would cause Suman a significant loss, so Suman went for the shooting, and at that time, his son passed away. After the incident of his son’s death, he informed the media about the aforementioned actions. He also said that they turned to Buddhism for his son’s recovery.
