New Delhi – The electoral bonds arrangement should be properly understood. Presently there is no electoral bonds in practice now; but the elections are on. Huge expenditure on it is also happening. How is this happening ? There is no way it could happen other than use of black money. The electoral bond arrangement was stopped before giving any other alternative method. The Supreme Court will have to review this matter sooner or later, said Union Home Minister Amit Shah in his interview to a Hindi news channel. He was answering a question about Supreme Courts decision about the Electoral Bonds.
Replying to the question on ‘one country, one election’, Amit Shah said, in 60s there was ‘one country, one election’ in the country. Indira Gandhi dissolved the opposition. This caused the change in the election timetables. Now it is necessary to enact a law so that central and state elections are held at one time. The political parties will go to the people once in 5 years. They will cast their votes once in five years and those get the majority will form the government. What is wrong in this way ? asked Amit Shah.
