Ismail Atiq attacked a bus driver with a knife in Udupi, Karnataka

Allegation of wrong ‘overtake’ by the bus driver

Udupi (Karnataka) – Ismail Atiq alleged that a bus driver overtook his car  from the wrong side. Angered by this, Ismail Atiq followed the bus and stopped the bus at Padubidri. Atiq entered the bus and attacked the bus driver with a sharp knife. (Would the Police investigate how Atiq got the knife  ? – Editor). The name of the bus driver has been revealed as Shailendra alias Shailu. The incident  occurred on the morning of 29th April.

Both sides have registered complaints at the Police station at Padubidri. Atiq alleged that the bus driver and conductor attacked him with a screwdriver.
