Perform sadhana by participating in the Research being conducted by Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay (MAV) on the science of Palmistry

The lines on the palms and feet, their interconnection, signs and symbols, height, and shape reveal a plethora of information about an individual’s nature, virtues, shortcomings (personality defects), life span, luck (fortune), and destiny. This stream of transcendental knowledge is known as the science of Palmistry.

As advised and guided by Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale, MAV intends to conduct research on Palmistry to preserve and promote this ancient knowledge, which will focus on spiritual aspects. Seekers, readers, well-wishers and devout Hindus who have studied Palmistry can participate in this research project.

At the moment, the following related satsevas are available at the MAV Research Centre in Ponda, Goa.

1. Spiritual topics for research

A. To determine if an individual suffers from spiritual distress : Negative energies in the subtle dimension trouble individuals in different ways as per their severe destiny and prevailing unfavourable times. These troubles are called ‘spiritual distresses’. The research aims to check if the spiritual distress of an individual can be revealed through Palmistry.

B. To determine if an individual has descended on Earth from the superior regions : Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale has already identified over 1,000 sattvik (Spiritually pure) children who have descended on Earth from the superior (higher) regions, such as Swarga, Mahar, Jana, Tapa and Satya. They are called ‘Divine children’ and are spiritually evolved right from their birth. By studying the palms of Divine children who have become teenagers or adults, research will identify if an individual has descended on Earth from the superior regions.

C. To determine unique aspects of Saints and Sadgurus : Following the path of Gurukrupayoga and performing sadhana accordingly, 127 seekers have reached the spiritual level of 70% or more till 1st March 2024 and have thus become Saints. Of these 127 Saints, 17 have reached the Sadguru level (whose spiritual level is 80% or more). The research aims to determine their unique features with the help of Palmistry.

MAV has a collection of palm prints and photos of those who have spiritual distress, Divine children, Saints and Sadgurus.

2. Compilation of a Text on the science of Palmistry

MAV intends to publish a Text on the science of Palmistry, to preserve and develop this stream of transcendental knowledge. The research material presently available with MAV, Reference Texts, and the latest research will help in compiling this Text. To speed up the process, seekers are requested to participate in different related satsevas such as compilation of handwritten research notes, planning the index for the Text, proofreading the draft compilation, etc.

Required skill set : Basic understanding of Palmistry and primary knowledge related to working on computers, Marathi grammar and language skills are required for these satsevas. This will facilitate seekers to introduce related satevas (which can be performed from home as well) to interested seekers, readers, well-wishers, and devout Hindus.

Spiritual distress : This means that the individual has negative vibrations. If the individual has more than 50% negative vibrations, it denotes ‘severe’ distress. If the negative vibrations are between 30 and 49%, it denotes ‘moderate’ distress; if the negative vibrations are less than 30%, it denotes ‘mild’ distress. Spiritual distress is caused by spiritual reasons such as destiny, distress due to departed ancestors, etc.
