BJP to bring the proposal of Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi in its National Conference

New Delhi   – The National Conference of BJP will be held from 16th February to 18th February at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The meeting will be attended by Chief Ministers, Deputy Chief Ministers, Leaders of
Opposition, State Presidents and 8,000 representatives of the National Council of BJP-ruled States. According to
sources, the proposal of Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi may be the main theme of the council meeting. “Should BJP
present this proposal directly or should it be brought through an organisation like VHP?”, a discussion is currently going on among the party’s top leaders. Most of the BJP leaders say that the BJP should present the proposal itself and urge other organisations to support it.

A senior BJP leader said, ” The situation was different when we had proposed Shriram Mandir. “We were then in opposition; so we had to fight a long Court battle. Now we are in power both at Centre and Uttar Pradesh. We will try to find a solution after discussing with the Muslim parties. The Uttar Pradesh Government can also enact a Janmabhoomi Act. Going to Court will be the last resort.
