Southern States will demand a separate nation

Bengaluru Congress MP DK Suresh’s threats

New Delhi – The Union Government has ignored Karnataka’s demands for irrigation projects. The Union Government is giving the money collected from the southern States to the northern States. There is injustice in fund distribution. If the Union Government continues to do so, the southern States will raise their voice for a separate nation; threatened DK Suresh, Congress MP from Bengaluru outside Parliament while criticising the budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

DK Suresh further said

We are only asking for our rightful funds. The Union Government does not give its fair share of ‘GST’ (Goods and Services Tax) and direct taxes to the South Indian States.

The Centre is getting Rs 4 lakh crore from us and what we are getting in return is negligible.

The State has not received the subsidy recommended by the 15th Finance Commission.

Editorial Perspectives

  • What else has the Congress done besides partitioning Hindustan ? Those who are demanding a separate nation should be deposed by the people. To prevent further division in India, the establishment of a Hindu nation is essential.
  • Such MPs who sow the seeds of divisiveness and challenge the sovereignty of India should now be taught a lesson. Please note that even the Congress party is not opposing his statement, by this Congress is also supporting such anti-national statements.
