Gutka eating and spit marks (in circles)

Mumbai – Three wheelers are not allowed on Atal Setu that was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi a few days ago. Despite the rule, three wheelers were seen running on the bridge in a social media clip. Some people park their cars on the bridge to take pictures, while some others throw garbage. Stains of Paan and Gutkha were also noticed on the bridge.

First ever accident on the Atal Setu

The first ever accident took place recently on the bridge. The vehicle was going from Chirle, Uran to Mumbai. The driver lost control of the vehicle at about 12 km from Uran side of the bridge and hit the side barrier. A woman was driving the car and she was accompanied by a man and a child. Luckily, all the three escaped any serious injury. All of them were immediately taken to the hospital. It is yet not clear whether the car which met with an accident was following speed limit or not.

Editorial Perspective

This is because the politicians have not disciplined the Indian citizens in last 76 years of independence ! It is shameful for a country moving towards becoming the Vishwa Guru that its citizens spit at public places.
