Leader of a Muslim organisation threatens to cut off hands of opponents

Case registered against the leader for threatening ‘Indian Union Muslim League’ from the ruling coalition

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) – A leader of a Muslim youth organisation has threatened to ‘cut off hands’ if anyone speaks against the ideologues of his political party. The Kerala Police have registered a case against him. The youth’s name is Sathar Panthalloor and he is the leader of ‘Kerala Sunni Students Federation’, the student wing of the political party ‘Samastha Kerala Jam-iyyathul Ulama’. This is a Sunni Muslim organisation and has the highest support of Sunni Muslims in Kerala. Some leaders of the ‘Samastha Kerala Jam-iyyathul Ulama’ are upset with some leaders of the ‘Indian Union Muslim League’ from the ruling coalition.
