‘Patriotic Education Law’ takes effect in China

India too should have such a law which would teach its citizens to be patriotic !

Beijing – Chinese Government feels that the Chinese citizens do not give importance to patriotism. So, the Government has passed a law enforcing patriotic education to the citizens compulsory. Its implementation will begin from the next week. The Government’s purpose for making this law is to increase a feeling of national unity among the citizens. The Government official told the journalist in a press conference, “There is a practical need to unify thoughts and gather strength for the great cause of building a strong country and national rejuvenation.”

With the legal change, schools must include patriotic education in their curriculum, while companies must do so in their operations, such as business management and staff training. Parents should also ‘include love of the motherland in family education, according to the law. This will make the citizens show their faith in the Chinese Communist Party’s Government.
