Ayodhya (UP) – The new International Airport has been renamed as ‘Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhya Dham’.  The inauguration of the airport by PM Narendra Modi will take place in Ayodhyaon 30th December 2023. He will also inaugurate the revamped Railway Station in Ayodhya and flag off two trains, ‘Vande Bharat’ and ‘Amrut Bharat’. He will inaugurate and lay the foundations of many high value projects of more than Rs 15,700 crore.

The first phase of ultra-modern airport in Ayodhya has been developed at the cost of more than Rs 1,450 crore of Airport terminal area is 6,500 square metres, capable of providing service to nearly 10 lakh travellers every year. The exterior of the terminal looks like forthcoming Shriram Temple and the interior is decorated with graphics of local art, pictures, and the life-story of Bhagwan Shriram.
