They are treated like factory workers
Washington (USA) – Many doctors, nurses, and hospital staff in the USA are stressed because they are made to work beyond their capacity. Many have left hospital jobs, causing additional pressure on the remaining staff. They claim that they are working beyond their capacities and that the stress, anxiety, and fatigue experienced by doctors are leading to additional risks for patients. This issue is related to monopolisation and ‘Corporate Culture’ adopted by companies to earn more profits. Doctors, therefore, say that their problems need legal assistance now. The increasing number of patients, hours of duty and various targets set before them have so stressed doctors that they have started revolting against the State Administration, companies, and corporations. They have for the first time formed their union to oppose. In this background, many pharmacists and nurses have been taken into custody.
Dr Alia Sharif said, “We are doctors. Our profession is a noble profession; still, at the time of work, we are made to realise that we are workers. We are treated like factory workers.”
